I am convinced that a belief held within a sterile bubble of philosophy isn’t a belief at all, it’s a default setting. I want to live in a world of questions, a place where faith, reason, and conversation meet.
My Story
Where it began
I was born in North West England, in the recovering mill town of Wigan. At nine years old, I encountered Christ for the first time, and by fourteen, I had truly fallen in love with Him. Even now, I am still on the lifelong journey of knowing Him more.
Jesus is all about redemption—restoring the broken and calling people into their full potential in Him. Looking back, I struggled to see much potential in myself, especially as a child. Anxiety and excessive self-criticism were deeply woven into my story. Yet, through Christ, I have continually found worth, peace, and confidence. I serve a God who redefines me beyond my own limitations. In many ways, I resonate with James and John in Matthew 4:19—two fishermen called by a great Rabbi to become something greater than anyone expected.
“I discovered that God has His ways of using the weak and the foolish to bring down the strong and the wise.” (Brother Andrew, The God Smuggler)
I still remember my first real encounter with Jesus. I was nine years old, and it changed me forever. It was undeniably a spiritual moment, but also a rational decision—I understood, even at that young age, that I was created for relationship with God. Through Christ, that relationship was possible. Although there were some notable changes in my life from that point, it wasn’t all smooth sailing; life didn’t change overnight, sometimes transformation is gradual. Instead, it has been a journey of learning, growing, and walking with God—through both deep struggles and great victories. But through it all, one thing remains clear: every step of reason and passion has led me to the God who knows me, loves me, and calls me into something greater. Today, I can say with confidence that I am a believing, baptised disciple of the greatest Teacher—the Most High God.
Ministry & Leadership
My desire to know God more deeply led me to pursue formal theological education. I began my studies at Trinity College Bristol before moving to the US to study at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where I earned Bachelor’s degrees in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry, followed by a Master’s in Congregational Leadership.
Alongside my studies, I committed myself to pastoral ministry, serving in churches across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Washington State. In 2021, I was invited to serve as Campus Pastor at Trinity Western University’s Richmond campus in British Columbia, Canada—an innovative and diverse Christian community. There, I had the privilege of discipling students from around the world, helping them navigate faith, calling, and identity. In 2023, I returned to the UK to support my family and seek where God is calling me next in ministry.
Vision & Calling
I am on a mission, a mission to serve God with integrity, seek God’s wisdom in life and leadership, and to partner with others in mutual disciple. I want to be a voice for justice, spiritual renewal, reformation of character and healthy growth in the Church. I am passionate about supporting strong, Christ-centred communities where faith is both deeply personal and actively lived out.
Academically, I hope to pursue a doctorate—I am prayerfully seeking the right opportunity, striving to raise funds, and excited to deepen my relationship with God and ability to serve him through theological and pastoral expertise. But ultimately, following Christ isn’t just an academic pursuit; it’s a daily calling to live with purpose, make disciples, and lead others into a deeper relationship with God.
At the heart of it all, I am deeply invested in a real, living God who is profoundly invested in His people. That truth still amazes me. Because Christ willingly gave His life and rose again, I—like you—have the opportunity for a restored relationship with Him. And because of His love, His sacrifice, and His unfathomable glory, I am all in.

So, what do I do?
I’ve been grateful to serve in Christian ministry since 2009, starting in youth ministry in the UK. Over the years, I’ve spent most of my time serving as a pastor, with a focus on discipleship - helping people explore faith, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and wrestle with life’s biggest questions. Prayer and scripture have been my foundation, and I’ve learned that meaningful ministry happens through genuine relationships and honest conversations.
If I had to name a specialty, it would have to be what I love most: walking along side people as they seek to pursue what it means to be human, what it means to chase after God, and what it looks like to go on a journey with Jesus. I’ve never considered much about myself as special, but God has used me in unexpected ways, ways I never could have expected. Somehow, He’s given me opportunities to journey with others, to care for them, to help them hear from God, and to guide them in ways I never imagined.
I’ve served in churches of various sizes and traditions, in the UK and the USA, as well as being blessed to spend time in Canada as the Campus Pastor of Trinity Western University’s Richmond Campus. Each experience has shaped me, challenged me, and reminded me how good God is.
I am always happy to learn from others and to share whatever God has taught me along the way. If you’d like to connect, I’d love to hear from you.
